I'm Rachael Macropoulos, IBCLC.
Breastfeeding is natural but many times it is not without hurdles. I want to give the knowledge and support so you can jump over those hurdles and meet the breastfeeding goals you have set.
I'm not just a lactation consultant in the St Louis area but also a mom of 4. I have breastfed all of my children in some capacity but have struggled as well. When my youngest was born in 2016, I felt the strong desire to help others in their breastfeeding journey. I started volunteering as a breastfeeding peer counselor at nonprofit breastfeeding organizations. In 2019, I became a CLC and started working in WIC before passing the IBCLC boards in 2020.
I currently continue to work in community health and build a private practice to help others feed their babies.
